Job summary

Camden Property Trust is seeking a customer-focused Maintenance Technician to handle service requests, prevent maintenance issues, and prepare vacant units for move-in in the Denver market. This is an onsite, full-time role that emphasizes safety, teamwork, and exceptional resident experiences.

The position requires basic maintenance experience, a high school diploma or trade certification, and the ability to perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry tasks while working a variable

Qualifications

• Six months of maintenance experience, preferably in the apartment industry.
• High School Diploma preferred; certification from an accredited trade school highly desired.
• EPA Type I, Type II or Universal certification strongly preferred.
• Demonstrate knowledge of technical skills as it relates to apartment maintenance.
• Handle tile work, carpentry repairs and all facets of the make ready process.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical and all other systems at the community.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete service requests in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with the maintenance supervisor and team to prioritize tasks during the day.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, guests, and vendors.
• Identify safety hazards or hazardous conditions and address or report them.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment within the community.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in, including repairs or replacements.
• Maintain community appearance and perform basic repairs and replacements.
• Accurately document service requests in Onesite and track maintenance activities.
• Perform electrical and plumbing work as required.
• Assist with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, housekeeping, and notices as needed.
