Job summary

Oakmont Management Group seeks a part-time Maintenance Technician/Resident Attendant for Sea Bluffs/Ivy Signature Living in California. The role covers maintenance of the community, interior and exterior spaces, and resident units on a 8AM–4:30PM, weekends schedule.

Responsibilities include basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work, plus assisting with turnovers and grounds care. Candidates should have a HS diploma and a comfort with MS Office, and must pass background and health screenings.

Qualifications

• Prefer six months of experience in maintenance, building industry, or housekeeping.
• Must be able to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel).
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical, plumbing, and HVAC as needed.
• Assist with apartment turnovers – painting, carpet cleaning, pressure washing.
• Maintain grounds including pool and spa if applicable.
• Uphold safety standards and a secure environment for staff and residents.
• Support teamwork across departments.

Position: Maintenance Technician/Resident Attendant

Part-Time AM Shift, 8AM-4:30PM, and Saturday-Sunday

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of the physical plant, exterior, and interior common areas, and individual resident units in the Community, in accordance with the company�s mission, vision, and values.

Responsibilities:

• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Ability to assist with apartment turnovers � painting, carpet cleaning, pressure washing.
• Maintain grounds including pool and spa if applicable.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

Qualifications:

• Prefer six (6) months of experience in the building industry, maintenance, and/or housekeeping handling the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, and structural matters. Knowledge of building construction is helpful.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
