Denton Floyd Real Estate Group in Elizabethtown, KY is seeking an energetic Maintenance Technician to join our team. We pride ourselves on a cooperative, family atmosphere and room to grow as the company expands.

The successful candidate will maintain day-to-day property upkeep, troubleshoot HVAC and plumbing, perform preventive maintenance, and support Make Ready processes. On-call after hours emergencies are required, with a focus on quality service for residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years residential property management or equivalent maintenance experience.
• Minimum of 1 year plumbing experience.
• HVAC or EPA Certification preferred but not required; CPO is a plus.
• Excellent mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Professional, courteous manner with residents, vendors, contractors and team members.
• Must be able to pass drug screening and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day upkeep and repairs of the property under the Community Manager's direction.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, appliances, pools, painting, electrical, irrigation, and carpentry.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC units and water heaters.
• Repair or replace light fixtures, switches, outlets, smoke detectors, thermostats.
• Unclog plumbing drains and repair fixtures.
• Handle occupied work requests and apartment turns.
• Be available for on-call after hours emergencies.
• Complete Make Ready Check Lists and report issues to management.
