Job summary

Roadrunner is seeking aMaintenance Technician to keep trailers and related equipment reliable for daily operations. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime, while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of mechanical maintenance experience, basic electrical/plumbing skills, and proficiency with hand and power tools. This onsite role offers comprehensive benefits and a collaborative work culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of mechanical maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of machines, tools, repair techniques, and preventive maintenance.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical systems and equipment.
• Basic electrical diagnosis and repair skills.
• Basic plumbing knowledge and repair experience.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain trailers and related equipment to ensure safe, roadworthy operation.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues.
• Execute preventive maintenance to maximize uptime and asset life.
• Estimate repair costs and materials; document maintenance activities.
• Support facility maintenance tasks and safety standards.
• Prioritize work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
