Job summary

MAC Trailer is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform multi-disciplinary maintenance on machinery and facilities. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, installations, electrical and mechanical repairs, and preventive maintenance in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires ability to work safely, read blueprints, and operate various maintenance tools. On-site position with benefits and opportunities for growth within MAC Trailer.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in maintenance work.
• High school diploma or its equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily work assignments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Analyze repairs requests and troubleshoot them.
• Perform installations, assembling, fittings, repairs, and replacements as needed.
• Handle emergency maintenances and repair works.
• Stock adequate maintenance materials and equipment to avoid shortages and excesses.
• Maintain work area clean, safe and organized.
• Operate maintenance equipment safely to avoid accidents.
• Maintain the maintenance tools and equipment in safe, clean and good working conditions.
• Provide assistance to co-workers when needed.
• Attend job training and safety programs organized by maintenance department.
• Adhere to company policies, safety regulations and OSHA requirements.
• Perform maintenance tasks based on pictures, blueprints, written descriptions and oral instructions from Supervisors.
• Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Perform general electrical maintenance.
• Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate of testing devices.
• Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
• Experience in assist in developing preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
