Fresh Mark, Inc. in Salem, OH is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our production facility.

You will operate and maintain utility systems including hot water, boilers, ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, and compressed air, ensuring safe, compliant performance. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing electrical/mechanical equipment, reading diagrams, performing preventative maintenance, and documenting work.

Qualifications

• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification is required.
• Experience with maintaining and troubleshooting utility systems preferred.
• Ability to read diagrams, manuals and operating specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain utility systems: hot water, boilers, ammonia refrigeration, HVAC and compressed air.
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment and computerized control systems.
• Maintain daily logs and document preventative maintenance and calibration activities.
• Respond to routine and emergency calls promptly and safely.

Job description

We are currently looking for an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our Salem Production Facility.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

The Refrigeration Tech ensures the safe and appropriate operation of the utility systems and equipment groups that include but are not limited to: Hot Water system, Boilers and Anhydrous Ammonia Refrigeration system, HVAC, and compressedair system.

General duties include, but are not limited to troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining machinery, electrical/mechanical equipment and computerized systems such as boilers, compressors, cooling towers, evaporative condensers, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, tanks, pumps, conveyor systems and motors in accordance with diagrams, blueprints, operating manuals or manufacturer's specifications. The position is a member of the HAZWOPER Team.

• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification
• Operates and maintains all components and equipment of the utility systems that includes but are not limited to anhydrous ammonia systems, boilers, hot water, HVAC, and compressed air systems.
• Preform required testing, evaluates operation of machinery and equipment to diagnosecause of malfunctions.
• Must become proficient in knowledge and understanding of the P.S.M. program.
• Maintains daily log of repairs and submits for record.
• Basic computer skills to perform maintenance and repair oncomputer-controlledmachinery.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees,visitors,and contractors.
• Submits Preventative Maintenance, calibration,verification,and other such documentation in a timely manner.
• Responds to routine and emergency calls for repair and service in a timely, efficient manner.

Wage and benefit highlights

• Starting labor rate of $28.75 /hr.
• Shift differential of $1.50 /hr.
