Job summary

Fresh Mark, Inc. in Salem, OH is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our Production Facility and support the safe operation of hot water, boilers, ammonia refrigeration, HVAC and compressed air systems.

The role involves troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance of complex equipment, logging repairs daily, and effective communication with staff and contractors. Starting wage is $28.75/hr with a $1.50/hr shift differential, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required.
• Experience with large industrial utilities and ammonia refrigeration is preferred.
• Ability to read diagrams, blueprints and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain hot water, boilers, ammonia refrigeration, HVAC and compressed air systems.
• Operate and maintain boilers, compressors, cooling towers, pumps and other system components.
• Maintain daily log of repairs and submit records and documentation on time.
• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to routine and emergency repair calls.
• Communicate effectively with employees, visitors and contractors.

Job description

We are currently looking for an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our Salem Production Facility.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

The Refrigeration Tech ensures the safe and appropriate operation of the utility systems and equipment groups that include but are not limited to: Hot Water system, Boilers and Anhydrous Ammonia Refrigeration system, HVAC, and compressedair system.

General duties include, but are not limited to troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining machinery, electrical/mechanical equipment and computerized systems such as boilers, compressors, cooling towers, evaporative condensers, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, tanks, pumps, conveyor systems and motors in accordance with diagrams, blueprints, operating manuals or manufacturer's specifications. The position is a member of the HAZWOPER Team.

• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification
• Operates and maintains all components and equipment of the utility systems that includes but are not limited to anhydrous ammonia systems, boilers, hot water, HVAC, and compressed air systems.
• Preform required testing, evaluates operation of machinery and equipment to diagnosecause of malfunctions.
• Must become proficient in knowledge and understanding of the P.S.M. program.
• Maintains daily log of repairs and submits for record.
• Basic computer skills to perform maintenance and repair oncomputer-controlledmachinery.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees,visitors,and contractors.
• Submits Preventative Maintenance, calibration,verification,and other such documentation in a timely manner.
• Responds to routine and emergency calls for repair and service in a timely, efficient manner.

Wage and benefit highlights
