Job summary

Atlas Real Estate in Denver is seeking a 1099 Maintenance Technician to ensure timely upkeep of maintenance requests across properties. You will collaborate with Portfolio Managers and Turn Coordinators to complete work orders, flips, and turns, while tracking costs and coordinating vendors within a $1,000 daily budget.

The role requires hands-on maintenance skills across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, and general systems, plus a valid driver’s license and insurance.

Qualifications

• Must have demonstrable general maintenance and handyman skills across single-family, multifamily units and common areas.
• Experience with plumbing fixtures (P-traps, valves, toilets, disposals) and clearing drains.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders and turns within deadlines.
• Communicate with residents to schedule appointments and minimize disruption.
• Coordinate with Turn Coordinator and vendors to complete turns within budget.
• Inspect and procure materials needed for projects; track costs and hours.
• Perform final inspections to ensure high-quality workmanship.
