Position: Maintenance Technician

Reports To: Executive Director

What You’ll Do:

  • Be the go-to person for keeping our facility looking pristine and in perfect working order!
  • Assist in keeping our residents safe by supporting fire safety, disaster, and evacuation procedures.
  • Be part of a team that ensures everything is functioning, from plumbing repairs to light fixtures, and everything in between!
  • Perform essential repairs, including drywall touch-ups, painting, and more.
  • Maintain our high standards for cleanliness and safety by assisting with floor care and appliance maintenance.
  • Help keep things running smoothly by staying on top of the Maintenance Log and preventative schedules.

Who You Are:

  • A proactive and energetic individual who enjoys working independently and with a team.
  • Someone who is physically fit and can handle the demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • A problem-solver with an eye for detail and a knack for fixing things.
  • Someone who works well with others and shows empathy and care for our elderly residents.
  • Flexible and adaptable – you’re willing to jump in and get the job done!

What You Need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic experience in facility maintenance or similar roles.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • TB certification and First Aid/CPR as required by the state.
  • A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn.
