Job summary

Berkshire Residential Investments is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team serving a residential community. You will perform general maintenance, repairs, and safety enforcement, supporting property management and residents with cheerful, service-oriented attitude.

Requirements include at least one year of maintenance experience in a community setting, knowledge of appliances, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• At least one year of maintenance experience in a community setting.
• Working knowledge of appliances, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general maintenance.
• Proficient in writing, speaking and understanding English.
• Able to use computers and related applications.
• You are the ultimate jack of all trades!

Responsibilities

• Own and help drive the preservation of the property's physical attributes.
• Support management in upholding community and corporate standards, policies and procedures.
• Ensure that all safety measures are enforced.
• Assist in maintaining the shop, equipment, inventory control and key security.
• Be an inspector! Ensure curb appeal and property looks its best.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and teammates.

At least one year prior experience in the maintenance needs of a community

Working knowledge of appliances, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and building maintenance

You are proficient in writing, speaking and understanding the English language

You are able to use computers and related applications

You are the ultimate jack of all trades!

The expected salary range for this California position is between $26 and $30 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

The role is also eligible for the following benefits:
