Job summary

Mopec is seeking a reliable Maintenance Employee to support upkeep of our facility, production equipment, and building systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, coordinate with service providers, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

The role requires hands-on work, organization, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with vendors and internal teams. Mopec manufactures stainless-steel medical equipment using CNC lasers, mills, presses, and welding cells.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in facilities maintenance or a related field preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools.
• Ability to follow preventive maintenance schedules and documentation procedures.
• Experience with HVAC upkeep is a plus.
• Familiarity with saw blade changes, CNC equipment, or laser cutting is a plus.
• Attention to detail for compliance-related inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment.
• Coordinate with outside service vendors to schedule maintenance.
• Maintain organized maintenance areas and inventories for parts and supplies.
• Log maintenance activities and document completed work.
• Identify parts needed and schedule service with vendors.
• Assist with larger facility or equipment repairs as needed.
