Job summary

Mittera Group Inc is seeking Maintenance Technicians to repair and maintain machinery and equipment including printing presses and related systems. The role requires a 1-year college/technical certificate and 3–5 years of related experience, plus strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school and three to five years of related experience
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Strong leadership, organization and communication skills
• Ability to anticipate problems and implement preventative measures
• Ability to develop new techniques for work processes
• Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to multi-task

Responsibilities

• Observes mechanical devices, equipment and machinery in operation and diagnoses malfunctions
• Studies blueprints, sketches, machine parts or specifications
• Dismantles machinery to access defective parts
• Repairs or replaces defective parts and tests machinery
• Coordinates for outside services when needed
• Initiates purchase orders for parts and equipment
• Ensures OSHA and EPA compliance in the plant
• Performs other duties as assigned
