Job summary

Tyson Foods in Seguin, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment across our facility. This role focuses on preventive maintenance, repair, and rebuild of systems in a fast-paced production environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of industrial maintenance experience, is able to work C shift, and can follow Tyson policies and safety guidelines. Pay ranges from $20.35 to $29.10 per hour, with benefits including PTO and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of Industrial Maintenance experience.
• Must provide a resume or manually enter work-related experience on application.
• Work Schedule: Saturday and Sunday work required if needed.
• Rehire Criteria: Must have 90 days since the last term date. Not eligible for hire if terminated 3x or more.
• Relocation Assistance Eligible: No.
• Work Shift: C Shift (United States of America).
• Certain roles at Tyson require background checks. If you are offered a position that requires a background check you will be provided additional documentation to complete once an offer has been extended.

Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance: Maintain and rebuild machines, tender/shell belts, butterfly conveyors, skinners, and Sensor X equipment. Monitor and repair equipment during production, documenting all corrections.
• Installation and Monitoring: Assist with new equipment installation. Monitor equipment drives, HMIs, and computer boards.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Repair and Replacement: Fix or replace motors, gearboxes, belts, cylinders, blades, and other components.
