Job summary

Tyson Foods seeks a Maintenance Technician in Seguin, TX to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment while upholding Tyson policies and a safe work environment. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, repair, and rebuild of equipment within the facility.

The candidate should have at least 6 months of industrial maintenance experience, be able to lift 40 lbs, and work Saturdays/Sundays if needed. Strong problem-solving, communication, and OSHA compliance are required.

Qualifications

Applicants must have a minimum of 6 months of Industrial Maintenance experience.
Must provide a resume or manually enter work-related experience.

Adherence to OSHA standards and safety rules is required.

Responsibilities

Preventive maintenance: Maintain and rebuild machines, conveyor belts, skinners, and equipment.
Monitor and repair equipment during production, documenting corrections.
Assist with new equipment installation and monitor drives, HMIs, and control boards.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
Repair or replace motors, gearboxes, belts, cylinders, blades, and components.
