Job summary

Responsibilities

Create a safe and secure work environment.
Perform hands-on maintenance and repair tasks on production equipment as required.
Work with management to minimize unnecessary downtime.
Analyze machine downtime to identify and correct mechanical problems.
Maintain maintenance related records.
Perform facilities maintenance.
Achieve goals and objectives set by plant management each year.
Contribute to improvements to throughput, inventory and operating expense.
Adhere to company policies including Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems and Employee Handbook.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards and legislation.
