Job summary

Magic Metals in Yakima, WA seeks a Maintenance professional to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on lasers, CNC punches, brakes, mills, and related systems. This on-site role ensures equipment reliability and minimal downtime.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, document activities, and coordinate with production teams to align maintenance with production schedules and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Strong mechanical aptitude with experience maintaining industrial equipment.
Knowledge of basic electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Ability to read manuals, schematics, and maintenance procedures.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment.
Effective communication and collaboration with production, engineering and supervisory staff.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple maintenance tasks in a fast-paced environment.
On-site work with focus on safety, cleanliness, and regulatory standards.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment (lasers, CNC punches, press brakes, mills, etc.).
