Job summary

LightForce Orthodontics is seeking a Maintenance Technician I/II to join our Maintenance Operations Team. You will perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems, supporting uptime, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or associate degree preferred.
• Experience in a professional-level manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Experience with additive manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Complete routine inspections and daily maintenance rounds.
• Document all maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and corrective actions within the CMMS.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and process equipment issues.
• Support equipment reliability and uptime through effective preventive maintenance.
• Maintain tools, spare parts, maintenance work areas, and equipment in a safe and organized condition.
• Follow all company safety policies, GMP requirements, SOPs, LOTO procedures, and environmental requirements.
• Support production teams by responding to equipment concerns and minimizing downtime.
• Participate in root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Employ Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles to improve workplace organization and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for equipment, process, and maintenance improvements and communicate recommendations to maintenance leadership.
• Assist with equipment installation, modification, and maintenance-related improvement projects.
