Job summary

LightForce Orthodontics seeks a senior Maintenance Technician III to lead complex maintenance on production and facility systems. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control systems, while ensuring calibration and CMMS documentation accuracy.

You’ll mentor junior technicians and drive reliability improvements across the facility. Responsibilities include leading root-cause investigations, performing advanced diagnostics on furnace and air systems, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate, Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience considered.
• Completion of a journeyman or technical program preferred.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance in manufacturing, medical device, or precision environment.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Experience in GMP/ISO/regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead diagnosis, troubleshooting and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and control system failures on production equipment and facility systems. Document maintenance in CMMS.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of furnace systems, compressed air and facility electrical systems with minimal supervision.
• Administer calibration programs with schedules, documentation, and traceability.
• Serve as primary escalation resource for Maintenance Tech I/II and provide guidance during complex failures.
• Ensure compliance with LOTO and confined space procedures across all shifts.
• Review and optimize PM task lists to improve reliability and performance.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Mentor and train Maintenance Tech I/II; maintain training records.
