Job summary

Alfa Laval is hiring a maintenance professional in Richmond, VA to ensure operation of facilities and equipment. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pneumatic and hydraulic systems and high-tech machinery, while guiding operators in daily upkeep and timely service.

You will proactively assess equipment status, initiate spare parts requisitions, and participate in production improvements consistent with ALPS standards.

Qualifications

• Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• First line support for machine issues and adherence to maintenance plans.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of equipment status and parts needs.
• Directs operators in daily maintenance and service of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Check and repair equipment with pneumatic, hydraulic systems and high-tech machinery.
• Maintain awareness of equipment status and pre-request spare parts as needed.
• Oversee regular maintenance of equipment and lead daily maintenance and service tasks.
• Identify faults and address concealed risks to ensure safe operation.
