Job summary

Vytex Windows is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Laurel, MD to maintain equipment and facility infrastructure. You will facilitate process set-up and start-up, coordinate downtime and preventive maintenance with cross-functional teams, and communicate issues and resolutions with the maintenance group.

The role demands hands-on troubleshooting across CNC, pneumatic, hydraulic systems and other processing equipment, with knowledge of PLCs, electrical standards, and steel fabrication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' industrial mechanic experience or equivalent training.
• Hands-on troubleshooting: CNC / Pneumatic / Hydraulic and multi-processing equipment.
• Experience with Preventative Maintenance Programs (PMs).
• Knowledge of PLCs and electrical standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all operational equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Facilitate process set-up and start-up as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments in scheduling downtime and PM repairs.
• Communicate with maintenance team on problems, resolutions, and parts.
• Other duties as assigned
