Job summary

Glanbia Nutritionals, Inc. seeks a skilled maintenance technician to repair, install and maintain machinery and facility systems in its Sioux Falls plant.

You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems, maintain HVAC, water and steam utilities, and safely use a wide range of tools and diagnostic equipment. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a technical background is preferred, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; a technical degree and/or experience preferred.
• Skilled in mechanical repairs, sanitary welding, electrical/electronics, and HVAC.
• Knowledge of PLC equipment and ability to troubleshoot and take corrective action.
• Must furnish own hand tools and work with minimal supervision.
• Must meet safety rules and maintain good attendance and punctuality.
• Knowledge of food manufacturing processes and USDA/FDA/SQF requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair, install and maintain machinery, equipment, grounds and facility to meet quality targets.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems.
• Maintain facility utilities such as compressed air, HVAC, water and steam.
• Use a wide range of tools and diagnostic equipment safely and keep tools organized.
• Promote and practice safety, food safety, quality and sustainability.
