Job summary

Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement is seeking a Maintenance Technician (1st shift) to perform routine and preventive maintenance on facilities and production equipment. The role includes installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery in an industrial setting.

The candidate should have PLC programming experience, strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, ability to read blueprints, and be capable of using testing equipment. Shift flexibility is required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; technical training a plus.
• Minimum 4 years in a related field, preferably manufacturing.
• Experience with 480V 3-phase wiring and PLC programming preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics; strong problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to use hand and power tools and testing equipment.
• Flexibility to adjust shift schedule as production needs require.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment and facilities.
• Install, repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment with programmable controls (PLC).
• Assist with CI ideas and maintain safety standards per OSHA.
