Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain blow molding and injection molding equipment, execute preventative maintenance, participate in changeovers, and repair/ rebuild spare parts.

You will ensure safety and quality, expand expertise through training and new equipment projects, and work 6:45 am to 3 pm with overtime as needed. Associates receive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience maintaining manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with Husky, Sidel, Milacron, conveyors, case packers and box machines preferred.
• Solid hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical knowledge with troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work on aerial platforms up to 20 feet.
• Shift: 6:45 am–3 pm, Monday–Friday with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance for blow molding & injection molding equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Execute and continuously improve preventative maintenance procedures.
• Participate in changeovers, ensuring efficient & correct execution.
• Repair & rebuild spare parts.
• Assure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards and operating practices.
• Expand expertise through formal training & on-the-job experiences, including new equipment installation & modifications.
