Job summary

Jensen Infrastructure seeks a Maintenance Technician for our Phoenix, AZ concrete production facility. You will install, repair, and maintain complex machinery, perform preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using manuals and diagnostics.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will work with the production and yard teams; the role emphasizes safety and detailed record-keeping while ensuring smooth operation of equipment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of related maintenance experience
• Ability to use basic tools for routine maintenance
• Strong knowledge of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance: inspect and service machinery per schedule.
• Troubleshooting/repair: diagnose and fix equipment breakdowns in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Equipment installation: install new machinery and components with proper alignment.
• Calibration/adjustment: calibrate equipment to operating specs.
• Parts replacement: identify and replace worn/damaged parts.
• Documentation: maintain records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Safety compliance: follow safety protocols and regulations while performing tasks

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

The Maintenance Technician is a key position in our Phoenix, AZ concrete production facility. This position is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining complex industrial machinery and equipment within our manufacturing facility, ensuring smooth operation by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and making necessary repairs to electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components, often utilizing technical manuals, blueprints, and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues efficiently.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you’ll primarily work with the production and yard team.

A highlight of your day-to-day will include:

• Preventative Maintenance: Regularly inspecting and servicing machinery according to scheduled maintenance plans to detect potential problems before they occur.
• Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing and fixing equipment breakdowns involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Equipment Installation: Installing new machinery and components, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
• Calibration and Adjustment: Adjusting and calibrating equipment to optimal operating specifications.
• Parts Replacement: Identifying and replacing worn or damaged parts on machinery.
• Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Safety Compliance: Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated maintenance experience. Other desired qualifications include:

• Between 2 to 5 years of previous related experience.
• Ability to utilize basic tools to perform routine maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
