Job summary

Jensen Infrastructure in California is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment running safely and reliably. This hands-on role covers electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, equipment installs, and repairs around PLCs and VFDs.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the position is swing shift (2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.), with one month of day shift for training.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of hands‑on industrial maintenance experience.
Industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience troubleshooting PLCs and VFD systems (programming not required).
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting ability with hands‑on repair capability.
Ability to work independently and communicate with production and maintenance teams.
Safety-first mindset and commitment to reliable, high‑quality work.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment.
Diagnose and service equipment that includes PLCs and VFDs (repair/troubleshooting required; programming not required).
Support new equipment installation projects and plant expansion efforts.
Work with vendors to support equipment installs, service, and troubleshooting needs.
Complete maintenance work safely, efficiently, and with a production‑focused mindset.
