We are hiring immediately for a part-time MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN position.

Location: Crothall Healthcare - 1 Convention Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19104. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Part-time, 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, weekends and holidays; more details upon interview.

Requirements: Previous housekeeping, floor care, and customer service experience are preferred but not required.

Pay Range: $18.21 to $19.92 per hour.

Job Summary

Performs a variety of maintenance duties including repairs, cleaning, operating plant equipment, and emergency response support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Maintain, repair, and operate plant, shops, grounds, and facilities.
2. Perform basic maintenance and repairs; coordinate with vendors and on-call personnel.
3. Update work statuses and costs using company systems.
4. Support fleet maintenance including welding, plumbing, electrical, and vehicle troubleshooting.
5. Assist in minor repairs and report major issues.
6. Clean sidewalks, parking areas, and dispose of trash.
7. Operate electrical and gasoline-powered equipment.
8. Maintain and repair equipment with hand and power tools.
9. Perform minor carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and drywall tasks.
10. Respond to emergency repairs and perform rounds and inspections.
11. Read and transmit detailed instructions verbally and in writing.
12. Serve as part of the emergency response team.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least one year of related maintenance or groundskeeping experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Ability to meet deadlines and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
