We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to support distribution services in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Include
- Implementing preventive maintenance plans for facility equipment and systems.
- Diagnosing and repairing Material Handling Equipment (MHE) errors.
- Overseeing maintenance, modifications, and system upgrades of MHE.
- Assessing equipment efficiency and recommending modifications.
- Managing spare parts inventory using CMMS systems.
- Communicating critical issues to management and coordinating repairs with vendors.
- Assisting with configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of MHE and related systems.
- Working with vendors on design specifications and improvements.
- Developing and soliciting bids for maintenance and facility contracts.
- Leading, supervising, and developing Maintenance Support Specialists.
- Working flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, and being on-call for downtime events.
Qualifications Include
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Facilities/Plant Management, or related technical training; 2+ years of experience; electrical background preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial mechanical and electrical systems, troubleshooting complex automated systems, and CAD diagrams.
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to operate independently, multi-task, and lead others.
- Experience with building automation systems and safety protocols.
Additional Skills
- Metalworking, electrical troubleshooting, and safety awareness.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD; problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to train and assess team members and communicate effectively.
