Job summary

TRG Management is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to perform hands-on upkeep of our multi-property portfolio, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general systems. You will conduct inspections, perform repairs, and manage preventive maintenance logs.

The role requires strong communication, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift heavy equipment. Prior experience in property maintenance and team collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, or related trades.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs offices and interior/exterior areas; performs routine upkeep such as painting, cleaning, and housekeeping.
• Provides on-site maintenance for the property and conducts inspections.
• Install and repair electrical systems and components of machinery and equipment.
• Performs preventive maintenance and records findings in the maintenance log.
• Responds to on-call emergency service as required.
• Collaborates with maintenance staff to keep grounds clean and safe.
• Monitors mechanical equipment (water heaters, HVAC, etc.) and performs routine checks.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning equipment and replaces faulty components.
• Replaces damaged electrical components and ensures proper operation.

Responsibilities

• Prepares or assists in preparing maintenance of office in regard to painting, carpet cleaning, general repairs, housekeeping, etc.
• Responsible for the hands‑on maintenance of the property, including overall inspection, repair, and general maintenance of offices and other interior/exterior areas.
• Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Performs various preventative maintenance functions and records findings in maintenance log.
• Performs on‑call emergency service as required.
• Works along with general maintenance staff in maintaining grounds and keeping them free of trash and debris.
• Monitors the maintenance and keep‑up of all mechanical equipment on the community including, but not limited to, water heaters, HVAC units, etc.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables.
• Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, and motors, and positions sensing devices.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess

• A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• A minimum of two (2) years hands‑on maintenance experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• The ability to lift and work heavy equipment. Valid driver’s license and good driving record along with auto insurance required.
