Job summary

REMMEY - THE PALLET COMPANY is a major manufacturer of new wood pallets with two plants in Lehighton and Beaver Springs, PA. The Maintenance Technician will support preventive maintenance and on-the-spot repairs to keep equipment in peak condition.

Responsibilities include PM participation, detailed record-keeping, and recommending repairs while adhering to safety standards. This on-site role features 40–50 hour weeks and an hourly wage of $26–$27 plus attendance bonuses and shift differential.

Qualifications

• Strong background in manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency with a computer and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with inventory management controls.
• General - verbal communication, process improvement, organization, multi-tasking, problem solving, presenting technical information, analyzing information, decision making.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to solve practical problems.

Responsibilities

• Participate in preventive maintenance (PM) program to ensure minimal operational disruption and equipment downtime.
• Keep detailed PM, parts and equipment records for management.
• Identify need for and recommend repair and/or replacement of equipment and facilities.
• Adhere to Remmey safety standards at all times to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
