Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Atlanta, GA seeks a General Maintenance Worker (GMW) to join our facilities team. This union position offers a competitive compensation package including employer-paid healthcare and union pension contributions. You’ll perform painting, drywall repair, handyman tasks and facilities maintenance at a premier site, with on-the-job and cross-training opportunities in HVAC and building automation.

Location: On-site – Atlanta, GA. Work Shift: Day time schedule.

Qualifications

Strong painting and drywall repair experience.
Union position with Local 926.
Must join the union within first 90 days on the job.
Proven handyman skills for general facility repairs.
Basic plumbing repair capabilities including fixtures and valve assemblies.
Ability to troubleshoot problems independently and think creatively.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality repairs to walls, drywall, painting, doors and plumbing fixtures.
Conduct scheduled facility tours and equipment inspections as directed.
Respond to service calls and perform diagnostic troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
Complete preventive maintenance duties following JLL standards and manufacturer recommendations.
Work with pumps, motors, fans, pipes and HVAC-related components with support from plumbers and techs.
Monitor cooling towers and water treatment systems through regular inspections.
Collaborate with team to identify improvements and deliver quality customer service.
