Job summary

Lorien Bel Air is hiring a Maintenance Tech and Painter to service our skilled nursing and assisted living community in Bel Air, MD. You’ll handle work orders, do routine maintenance, painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical tasks, and coordinate with external contractors as needed.

We offer competitive pay ($18–$20/hour) and full-time benefits including PTO, holidays, major medical, tuition assistance, and more.

Responsibilities

• Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion.
• Perform preventive maintenance inside and outside of the building.
• Oversee outside contractors as needed.
• Utilize carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical skills.
• Apply HVAC knowledge in maintenance tasks.
• Handle physical workload safely.

Responsibilities

• Completing work and repair orders in a timely fashion
• Performing routine preventive maintenance inside and outside of the building
• Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
• Carpentry experience, preferred
• Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
• Strong HVAC knowledge or certification
• Must have the ability to handle a physical workload
• Plumbing, painting and electrical experience

Qualifications

• Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25-50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Previous painting or maintenance experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and general repair practices.

Schedule & Availability

• Full-Time and Part- Time Hours
• 10:00 AM -6:30 PM (Sunday to Thursday) Maintenance
• 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Every Monday and Tuesday)Painter
