Job summary

MorseLife Health System is seeking a Maintenance Technician for MorseLife PACE to perform electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs across facility equipment. The role includes preventive maintenance and quality assurance inspections under supervision of the Executive Director of PACE and MorseLife Senior Director of Facilities Management.

The position emphasizes on-call duties, safety compliance, and professional communication with residents, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance on HVAC, laundry, dietary, and facility equipment and maintains maintenance logs.
• Performs maintenance and electrical repairs on chilled water systems, boilers, heaters, compressors, refrigeration, laundry, and dietary equipment.
• Completes routine and preventive maintenance tasks promptly.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations for fire safety, OSHA, disaster preparedness, and facility operations.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs on PACE Center facility equipment. This role also performs preventive maintenance and quality assurance inspections under the direct supervision of the Executive Director of PACE and in collaboration with the MorseLife Health System Senior Director of Facilities Management.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Performs preventive maintenance on HVAC, laundry, dietary, and facility equipment, and maintains accurate maintenance logs.
• Performs maintenance and electrical repairs on chilled water systems, boilers, heaters, compressors, refrigeration, laundry, and dietary equipment.
• Completes routine and preventive maintenance tasks promptly.
• Understands and complies with all fire safety, OSHA, disaster preparedness, and facility safety procedures and regulations.
• Follow proper safety procedures while operating, repairing, and maintaining facility equipment.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with residents, staff, and visitors.
• Maintains availability for on-call duties and emergency response during off-duty hours.
• Performs all other related duties as assigned.
