Job summary

Florida Vacay Rentals is seeking an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Technician to maintain our vacation rental properties throughout the Ormond Beach area. You will handle preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and complete general repairs, respond to work orders through a mobile app, and communicate with other departments to ensure issues are resolved quickly and correctly.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional maintenance or related repair experience.
• General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and household repairs.
• Must live in or near Ormond Beach, Florida; valid driver's license and clean driving record for the past three years.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across vacation rental properties.
• Troubleshoot basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues.
• Complete monthly HVAC preventive maintenance.
• Repair or replace plumbing fixtures, garbage disposals, ceiling fans, and other household components.
• Complete minor drywall, grout, painting, and cosmetic repairs.
• Assemble and repair furniture.
• Troubleshoot televisions, cable boxes, and remote controls.
• Inspect properties for maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Respond to and complete work orders efficiently.
• Document repairs, parts, and materials through a mobile app.
• Communicate completed work and follow-up needs with appropriate departments.
