Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Berkeley, CA to perform a broad range of maintenance tasks across the property. You will support corrective, preventive, and cosmetic work under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, handling routine turn events and daily on-site duties.

You will participate in on-call emergencies, maintain safety and EPA/OSHA compliance, and help ensure the community remains well-kept and compliant with all policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community areas in a timely manner.
• Assist with maintenance/repair-related turn events across common areas and units.
• Perform routine, preventive, emergency and cosmetic maintenance as directed by Supervisor and Community Manager.
• Maintain the maintenance shop and adhere to safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
• Assist with inventory of equipment and supplies and record keeping of service requests and make-ready status.
