Job summary

Eagle Rock Properties in Rensselaer, NY is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the appearance and working order of apartments, exteriors and common areas across our communities.

Reporting to the Property Manager or Maintenance Manager, you’ll perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repairs, manage make-readies, and participate in on-call rotations and weekend coverage while upholding safety and quality standards for residents.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in trades or residential building maintenance.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances.
• Manage make-ready and apartment turnover processes.
• Implement preventative maintenance programs.
• Maintain building safety, cleanliness, and grounds.
• Support on-call rotation and weekend emergency coverage.
