Job summary
Granite's Peninsula Pointe in West Lafayette, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician who is on-call and ready to perform a wide range of upkeep tasks. You will work across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, masonry, and related trades to keep the property safe, functional, and welcoming for residents.
You’ll complete work orders promptly and accurately, proactively identify maintenance issues, and report findings to the Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications
- HVAC systems maintenance and repairs.
- Plumbing and drainage troubleshooting.
- Electrical wiring and safety practices.
- Drywall repair and replacement skills.
- Carpentry-like skills: woodworking and framing.
- Pipe fitting and plumbing fixture work.
- Sheet metal fabrication or handling.
- Operating heavy machinery safely.
- Demolition and remodeling tasks.
- Masonry work including block/brick.
Responsibilities
- Complete work orders promptly and accurately.
- Identify and communicate potential maintenance issues to management.
- Maintain company vehicle in a safe, clean condition.
- Possibly work overtime during high-volume periods.
