Job summary

Flow is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure apartment homes and facilities are safe, clean, and functional. You will perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting repairs, and maintain preventative maintenance schedules across properties in Florida.

You will also supervise or escort contractors as directed by the Facilities Manager and ensure compliance with codes and company standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Promptly respond to work orders and communications (text, email).
• Ability to accommodate an on-call schedule.
• Spanish language is a plus.
• HVAC Certification is a plus; EPA Certification is required.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, drywall, painting, basic carpentry, and routine upkeep.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in with turnover repairs and inspections.
• Conduct routine property inspections and report needs to management.
• Assist with inventory management of maintenance supplies and parts.
• Maintain knowledge of building emergency systems and procedures for resident safety.
• Adhere to safety procedures, policies, and security protocols, reporting hazards promptly.
• Provide strong customer service to residents, vendors, and team members.
• Follow established procedures for key control, turns, preventative maintenance, and emergencies.
