Job summary

Pipeline Plastics is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and reactive maintenance for our manufacturing plant. The role involves maintaining equipment, performing repairs to maximize production, and working 40+ hours with weekends and on-call duties as needed.

The position requires strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills, plus the ability to troubleshoot and communicate effectively with plant staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Continued education certifications are preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience as a line operator or similar training/experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Practice PPE compliance and maintain a safe working environment.
• Communicate unsafe conditions or injuries to Maintenance/Plant Manager.
• Operate forklifts as needed.
• Maintain facility housekeeping.
• Pursue ongoing training to build job skills.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to keep production running.
• Ensure equipment is safe and in good condition.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on time and coordinate with staff.
• Align with PLP core values.
