Job summary

Drucker-and-Falk,-LLC in Newport News, VA seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform make-ready repairs on vacant units, respond to on-call paging, and support the Service Manager with repairs, inventory, and site upkeep.

Candidates should have plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills; HVAC certification preferred. A GED or high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and willingness to be on call are required.

Qualifications

• Plumbing, electrical, carpentry skills required.
• Knowledge of SDS and OSHA regulations desirable.
• 608 Refrigerant Certification preferred but not required; training available.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs to make-ready units in a timely manner.
• Be on-call 24 hours as scheduled by the Service Manager.
• Assist Service Manager with inventory control and maintenance requests.
• Inspect property for improvements and communicate with supervisor.
• Maintain a clean maintenance shop and report safety hazards.
