Job summary

Dungarvin in the United States is hiring a Maintenance Technician to ensure preventive, corrective and renovative maintenance across buildings, grounds, and vehicles. You will participate in planning, coordinate fleet repairs, and work with external vendors to keep facilities in top condition.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of maintenance experience, with on-call evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of building maintenance experience including heating, plumbing, electrical and general repair.
• Ability to evaluate cost effectiveness and preventative measures.
• Good decision-making and communication skills; able to work independently and as a team.
• Own transportation and basic tools required.
• Must be able to be on call in evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residential homes, grounds, and property are well maintained and in good repair.
• Participate in general maintenance planning and capital improvements planning.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair of the fleet of vehicles.
• Coordinate and secure external vendors for skilled maintenance repairs.
• Maintain organization of tools, equipment and keys.
• Ensure maintenance documentation is completed and maintained for all repairs.
