Job summary

Hillpointe is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Dawsonville, GA to perform technical and mechanical tasks across the property’s buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas. The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and timely completion of work orders.

Responsibilities include inspections, preparing vacants for new tenants, inventory management, and supporting cost-saving initiatives. A valid driver's license and EPA Type I/II or Universal certification (or willingness to obtain)

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in buildings and common areas.
• Troubleshoot problems, perform repairs in line with safety standards and codes, and conduct preventive maintenance.
• Complete move-out inspections and maintenance work orders with thorough documentation.
• Manage inventory, coordinate with vendors/contractors, and track materials.
• Adhere to safety protocols; participate in safety meetings; report incidents promptly.
• Communicate effectively with management, residents, vendors, and contractors.
• Possess or be willing to obtain EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant certifications.
• Maintain valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property.
• High School diploma or GED with related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders for resident requests and preventive maintenance.
• Inspect property to ensure quality and address needs.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new tenants.
• Manage inventory and order supplies.
• Assist in grounds upkeep.
• Support cost-cutting efforts.
• Participate in safety protocols and procedures.
• Rotating on-call schedule including weekends, evenings, and mornings.
