Schochet is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service Faulkner Tower in Somerville, MA. The role requires hands-on electrical, plumbing, HVAC and appliance repair skills with a strong emphasis on customer service in a multi-unit elderly housing community.

The position involves handling resident work orders, daily upkeep, apartment turnovers, on-call shifts, and participation in inspections. Physical requirements include lifting 30–60 lbs and mobility throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience required.
• Must be able to lift 30–60 lbs regularly.
• Must live within 30 minutes of Somerville, MA.

Responsibilities

• Complete all resident work orders.
• Perform daily property upkeep.
• Complete resident apartment turnover tasks.
• Be available for on-call duties.
• Participate in property inspections or inspection team.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities.
