Job summary

Sentry Management, Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for an association in Ocean City, MD.

You will perform general maintenance and upkeep of outdoor and indoor amenities, coordinate with vendors, and address resident requests while ensuring safety and cleanliness across properties. Responsibilities include operating trash compactors, maintaining pool and sun deck areas, and conducting routine inspections of building systems.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience required.
• Professional, organized and self-motivated.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to stand, bend, climb and walk up to 4 hours per day.
• Lift up to 50 lbs safely.
• Capable of working in variable weather conditions.
• General computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and maintenance of outdoor and amenity areas (sundeck, pool, sidewalks).
• Inspect and maintain building and grounds including windows, landscaping, and common areas.
• Operate and monitor trash compactors and report issues to General Manager.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and upkeep.
• Assist with routine building systems maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC).
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of common areas and amenities.
