Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure maximum uptime of our facility and manufacturing equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex systems, and drive root-cause solutions to keep operations safe and efficient.

Shift: C Team, 7pm-7am, 2-2-3. Requires 3+ years in maintenance or related field and strong diagnostic abilities. OSHA-aligned safety focus and opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement at the site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical repair experience.
• Strong analytical, mechanical, and logical troubleshooting aptitude.
• Relevant technical certifications/licenses are preferred (or obtained within specified timeline).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose, inspect, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control systems using schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic tools.
• Preventative Maintenance: Follow predictive and preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime, reduce waste, and improve machine performance.
• Electrical & Automated Systems: Install, inspect, and repair motors, wiring, switchboards, relays, and circuit breakers in compliance with safety standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Partner with production teams and engineers to identify root causes of equipment issues and implement long-term fixes.
• Safety & Quality: Inspect and maintain shop equipment in alignment with OSHA standards while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Facility Support: Support general facility upkeep, including HVAC, plumbing, and routine grounds maintenance as needed.
