Job summary

Avery Dennison is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician to lead equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility uptime. You will diagnose root causes, troubleshoot electrical/PLC issues, and keep production moving safely in a 2:45pm–11pm shift, with hourly rate $31.47–$41.41 depending on experience.

Responsibilities include diagnostic repair of mechanical systems, electrical/PLCs, preventative care per OSHA, and continuous improvement to reduce downtime and waste while

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years previous experience.
• Electrical certification/training or 3-5 years experience.
• PLC certification/training or 3-5 years experience.
• Good interpersonal skills, mathematical aptitude, mechanical/technical skills and problem solving.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a highly participating work system.
• Ability to work independently in a safe and timely manner.
• Motivated towards productivity improvements, safety and quality awareness.

About the Role

Avery Dennison is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician to lead equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility uptime In this role, you won't just apply "band-aid" fixes—you’ll use your technical skills to identify root causes, troubleshoot electrical/PLC issues, and keep production moving safely.

SHIFT: 2:45pm-11pm

Hourly Rate: $31.47-$41.41/hour depending on experience

What You’ll Do

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Classification: Avery Dennison - Internal
• 3 - 5 years previous experience
• Certifications in specialty areas required as applicable. Or acquire within specified timing any licenses necessary to perform the job.
• Electrical certification/ training or 3-5 years experience.
• PLC certification/training or 3- 5 years experience.
• Good interpersonal skills, mathematical aptitude, mechanical/technical skills and aptitude and logical problem solving skills necessary.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a highly participating work system.
• Ability to work independently in a safe and timely manner necessary.
• Must be motivated towards productivity improvements, safety and quality awareness.

Preferred:

• AutoCad proficiency
• Associate Degree or better in Manufacturing or Electrical disciplines.
• Proficiency in using PLCs to troubleshoot and diagnose to root cause.
