Job summary

Ensign-Bickford Industries, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Aurora, Missouri site. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems to keep equipment safe, reliable, and productive.

A strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential to succeed in this role. The position offers a 12-hour shift schedule, built-in overtime, and a comprehensive benefits package, with starting pay of $24.50 per hour plus night differential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-4 years manufacturing experience required, food grade preferred.
• Ability to regularly stand and lift at least 70lbs in a dusty environment with fluctuating temperature.
• Strong computer skills required.
• Required to work 12-hour shifts.
• Ability to follow and adhere to procedures regarding attendance, job tasks, safety and quality.
• Ability to problem-solve and deal with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive and breakdown maintenance to ensure safe, reliable operation of the Aurora site.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems; maintain rotating and other equipment.
• Monitor and perform preventive maintenance on equipment; document maintenance activities.
• Support 5S workplace organization and housekeeping standards.
