Maintenance Technician – Night Shift

At Dakotaland Manufacturing, we believe great maintenance technicians are the backbone of manufacturing success. We are looking for a hands‑on, driven, mechanically inclined Maintenance Technician to join our growing team on night shift.

Schedule

Night Shift: Monday–Thursday 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM. Overtime as needed. Enjoy 3-day weekends while working four 10‑hour shifts!

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshooting and repairing production equipment
• Performing preventative maintenance on machinery and facility systems
• Supporting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs
• Responding to equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs
• Reading and interpreting manuals, blueprints, and work orders
• Using hand tools, power tools, meters, and material handling equipment
• Maintaining maintenance records and repair documentation
• Supporting facility upkeep, organization, and 5S initiatives
• Promoting a strong safety‑first culture

What We’re Looking For

• 1–3 years of maintenance or industrial repair experience preferred
• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Experience with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or facility systems is a plus
• Ability to work independently and solve problems quickly
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)

Preferred

• Industrial maintenance education or apprenticeship experience
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands‑on role that requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, climbing, and working around manufacturing equipment throughout the shift. Safety glasses and work boots are required.
