Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Night shift Maintenance Technician to oversee mechanical and electrical performance of automated production machines in our Phoenix glass manufacturing setting.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and assist with root-cause analysis to minimize downtime, contributing to high-quality product output and safety on the line.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting, repair, overhaul of high-speed production machinery (electrical & mechanical).
• Experience with CNC, PLCs/drivers and motors.
• Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the mechanical/electrical performance of several automated production machines.
• Maintain and observe operation to ensure high-quality glass production.
• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance to increase run time between failures.
• Assist management in root cause analysis when failures occur.

The Night shift Maintenance Technician is focused on mechanical/electrical performance of automated production machines and reports to the Manufacturing Manager.

This role is perfect for an individual who hands on, responsible, with great communication skills. A vital member of the Maintenance Team, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include

• Be responsible for the mechanical/electrical performance of several automated production machines or equipment that perform one or more function in glass.
• Maintain and observe operation of machines and equipment to ensure the production of high-quality glass.
• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on equipment in a safe and efficient manner and make repairs as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks in order to increase equipment run time between failures.
• Assist management in root cause analysis when failures occur.

What We Are Looking For

• Must have experienced skills and knowledge with troubleshooting, repair, overhaul and operation of high-speed production machinery both electrical and mechanical.
• Experience with industrial electrical equipment, CNC, PLC’s/Driver and motors.
• Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems

Training:1 month of training 9am-5:30pm Monday-Friday

Scheduled Shift After Training: 7:30 pm to 4:30 am Monday-Friday
