OBE in Terrell, TX is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Technician to maintain production machinery, analyze and diagnose equipment issues, and support continuous operation on the line.

This role requires wiring motors and VFDs, plumbing tasks, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while following safety practices; training for other areas is possible.

Qualifications

• Must be able to wire motors and drive equipment with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in plumbing including PVC, black iron and copper pipe.
• Able to cut with oxy/acetylene and plasma cutter and troubleshoot from prints.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production machinery and analyze & diagnose issues.
• Turn in problems with equipment that needs repair during PM.
• Help others with problems and support the maintenance team.

The night shift Maintenance Technician is focused on working as team as well as being able to work independently while willing to be trained to work in other areas as needed and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

This role is perfect for an individual who:

• Always work in a safe manner and identify safety hazards
• Conduct themselves in a professional manner during the course of the workday
• Should be able to take care of tasks and assigned work as needed with little or no supervision

Job responsibilities include:

• Perform maintenance on assigned production machinery, including analyzing & diagnosing
• Turn in problems with equipment that needs to be repaired on P.M.
• Help others with problems when needed

What We Are Looking For

• Should be able to wire in motors, motor starters, relays and other electrical equipment including Variable Frequency Drives with little or no assistance.
• Should be able to do all types of plumbing including PVC, black iron and copper pipe.
• Can cut with oxy/acetylene and plasma cutter.
• Should be able to troubleshoot most problems using prints.
