Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support our Midway, KY facility. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot motion control systems and electrical equipment, and ensure safe operation of 480-volt machinery. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

• Industrial Maintenance Certificate or military training or 2+ years' experience in an Industrial Maintenance setting.
• PLC experience is a plus.
• CMMS knowledge is required; E-maintenance experience is a big plus.
• Able to use multimeters and laptops to troubleshoot machine performance.
• Must be computer literate including Outlook, Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshooting motion control systems, motion controllers, VFDs, servo drives, and working around 480-volt electricity.
• Organize, multitask, prioritize workload and maintain strong communications.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures (LOTO, Arc Flash, PPE).

Job responsibilities include:

• Preventative maintenance.
• Must have experience with troubleshooting motion control systems, motion controllers, VFDs, servo drives, and experience working around 480-volt electricity. Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and other mechanical maintenance is required.
• Will work with a group or alone, able to be organized, multitask, prioritize workload and strong communications skills are required.
• Safely performs tasks and adheres to all safety policies and procedures. This includes, LOTO, Arc Flash, wearing of all required PPE. This is a MUST.

What We Are Looking For

• Industrial Maintenance Certificate, military training, or 2+ years' experience in an Industrial Maintenance setting.
• PLC experience is a plus
